What Is The Best Yoga Asana For Beginners?

(1.) Tadasana (Mountain Pose)

Stand with your heels slightly apart from each other. Hang your arms beside the torso. Gently lift and spread your toes and the balls of the feet to lay them softly on the floor. Balance the body feet on the floor. Lift your ankles and firm your thigh muscles while rotating them inwards. As you inhale elongate the torso and as you exhale release the shoulder blades away from the head. The ears, shoulders, ankles, should be in one line. During the initial practice, you easily check the alignment against the wall.

(2.) The Triangle Pose (Trikonasana Yoga)

Keep your legs straight and reach forward with the left hand towards the ground. Tilt forward and rotate it to open on the right side. Rotate your arms in the pose of 6 and 12 o clock. Rest your left hand on your shin or the floor if you can and extend your arm fingers towards the ceiling. Hold your breath for a while and then switch the sides.

This pose helps you to stretch and strengthen the muscles along with improving other functions of the body. This pose is especially good for pregnant women. It helps you to reduce blood pressure, stress, and anxiety. Apart from this, it also helps you to improve the circulation of blood in the body.

(3.) Plank Pose



This is a posture which is also known as the plank pose. Anyone can practice it because it is very easy. Place your hands and knees on the floor directly under your shoulder. Take your knees off the floor and extend your legs behind you. Be on your toes and your hands with your body forming a line. Hold this position for 3-5 breaths and gradually increase the practice from 15 to 20 times. Practice this if you want to develop toned abs.

(4.) Uttanasana Yoga

Keep your legs straight and join then together. Bend forward and try to touch the ankles of your legs. This bending pose will help you to relax from stress & anxiety. By binding the hands, it allows you to stretch the arms and tighten the shoulder to relax. A stretch in legs helps you to bring back blood in the brain. Perform this asana while you are empty stomach.

(5.) Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)

There are two sets of twelve poses in Surya Namaskar with a minor change in the second set. The practice of Surya Namaskar will help you to improve your flexibility, increase the strength to maintain a balance in your body. With constant practice, it helps you to reduce the symptoms of lower back pain, reduce sleep disturbance, and hypertension. It increases your energy and decreases fatigues. (6.) Kapalbhati Pranayama

It cures constipation, acidity, diabetes, Asthma, and all kinds of Respiratory troubles, sinus, and even hair loss.
