Virgo Season 2020: False Humility
The month of Virgo is pretty much dedicated to preparing for the Autumn Equinox – a day when our fate will be weighed and balanced. Virgo season bestows gifts of organization and analysis so that we can become clear and honest about where we stand on our spiritual path. It’s very important to be able to self-reflect with logic and reason so that we don’t get emotionally sucked into self-pity or wallow in regret about whatever negative deeds we committed.
Think of packing up a house. If you indulge in every single picture or memorabilia, it’ll take a century to get the job done. Sometimes we need to shut down the emotional brain that leads to nostalgia and indulging in the past. We just have to pack up everything we need and throw out whatever we know we’ve been holding onto for way too long already.
Virgo is very duty oriented and wants to focus on the task at hand with simplicity. Emotions, while they provide for inspiration, need only be considered and not granted permission to override the entire situation. This allows for logical processing and the ability to keep the show on the road in spite of any storm.
So during Virgo, we are asked to atone for anything we’ve separated from. Wow, that’s a tall order! I say atone because atonement is the ability to bring things into a unity (a quality ruled by Virgo). Available on my site is a beginner’s atonement exercise anyone can do especially during the month of Virgo and hopefully beyond!

“The outcome of atonement should be the ability to take 100% responsibility, and 0% blame!” – @ArikXander
When we take 100% responsibility, we are automatically free from taking any blame, whether it comes from others or self. Whenever we feel guilty or attacked for a situation, we can know that we haven’t stepped into our personal power of self-responsibility, owning what’s ours and discarding what is not.
Thankfully, Virgo Season provides a temporary “no BS zone” that demands truth even in the face of the most sophisticated lie. Like so many people with Sun in Virgo, they take responsibility very seriously, and during Virgo, we will need to do the same! But it’s very important that we take responsibility without taking blame! We need to know what we are responsible for and what is not ours to take care of. This is a challenge for the Virgo and we will all get a taste of it during this Virgo season.
Knowing the difference between what we can handle and what needs to be handled by others is a complicated lesson because the tendency to get caught up in the small details blinds us from the bigger picture. When we truly know what we are responsible for, and thereby what our duty is on this Earth and in any situation, we will be empowered to get the job done!
The downsides to avoiding self-responsibility are the development of cynicism and skepticism which can dampen enthusiasm and stop us on our path. Virgo will shine light into the negative parts of life, and just like a film, this light will project that negative into space. What we see in that space is a presentation, a movie if you will, for us to review and make notes. But we need to maintain passion and enthusiasm for life and its processes while processing what we see! Without it, we could become burned out and discouraged, even hopeless that we can make positive changes.
The best way to cultivate this enthusiasm and passion is with humility and becoming down-to-earth. Virgo, an earth sign wants us to be simple and grounded, remember that no BS zone I mentioned earlier? That’s Virgo. Be humble and accept the imperfections as necessary steps on the path to completion where every step is perfect already.
Without this attitude, we can, unfortunately, develop what’s called false humility where we pretend to be humble. What does that look like, you ask? It’s the “holier-than-thou” identity that has it all figured out and patronizes others. This is the same identity that believes in things like, “I release whatever doesn’t serve me”, which is impossible because the true aspirant knows that everything on the path serves us in moving towards greater enlightenment.
With false humility, we pretend to have compassion, we profess to care, and we go through the motions, but we lack the ability to experience life as a blessing.
However, with atonement, self-responsibility, and enthusiasm, we can turn cynicism into optimism and see that each step of life leads us to the ultimate bliss.
Virgo will ask us to take care of our small intestine and digestion. “I am jumping with joy” is what we say when we do the Virgo exercise from my Vessel Building App. Check out the in-app subscription to get a deeper insight into the archetypes of the day within the app. You can also use the Virgo Essential Oil or the Virgo Phone Wallpaper, which is designed with the archetypal colors to create electrical impulses in the brain that stimulate biochemical processes in the body to transcend Virgo astrology.
Let’s look at the three phases of Virgo Season 2020
- Aug 22 Sun enters Virgo
- Aug 25 Quarter Moon
During the first phase of Virgo, it’s easy to get distracted from the task at hand. Try to stay focused, and whenever you have time to kill, do some atonements.
The Sun is making aspects that are shifting priorities and projects. Expect shifts. Things that have been placed on the back burner are getting brought to the front burner. Flexibility is required to get the job done because it’s almost like everything will be dumped on you all at once. Things that you’ve been procrastinating are catching up with you, but you can handle it if you delegate or prioritize.
Work without expectation and remember that your best effort is its own reward!

- Sep 2 Full Moon in Pisces
- Sep 5 Uranus semi-square True Node
- Sep 5 Mercury enters Libra
- Sep 6 Venus enters Leo
- Sep 9 Mars Retrograde
In Virgo phase 2, there is a strong flow of inspiration available so be sure to tap into it if you need it. As always, take the humble approach and write it down because if you don’t remember it, the universe will take the inspiration to someone else who wants to service it.
The Full Moon in Pisces will show us where we are lost in a maze of doubt and illuminate how to solve it!
Mercury will enter Libra placing more emphasis on our relationships. This is a strong placement for communication and setting joint intentions. Then Venus will enter Leo reminding us that love conquers and controls our ego nature to want need and desire approval. Watch out for needing validation or adoration from others. Give it and don’t expect it to come back to you.
On the last day of Virgo phase two, Mars will go retrograde in Aries! It’s time to activate the inner warrior and really fight your inner demons! Mars is the planet of activity, capacity, and willpower. When Mars is retrograde, its energies are building up within us to take off like a rocket when it goes direct on November 14th, 2020. This is just reinforcing the splitting of realities that I’ve been writing and talking about all over the internet.
For Self Care
Waiting too long to deal with your stress or fears? Not a good idea, especially in times of pandemic. The energy is heavy outside and it’s your responsibility to take care of your health and wellness. It will increase immunity on physical and spiritual levels. During these uncertain times, your mental health is more important than ever, and waiting to get healing until the pandemic is over is likely to make things worse in the long run.

- Sep 10 Quarter Moon
- Sep 12 Jupiter Direct
- Sep 17 New Moon
- Sep 22 Sun enters Libra
- Sep 22 Autumn Equinox
In these final days of Summer, the world goes comatose! At the same time, there is a lot of transformative energy available as the Sun makes an aspect to Pluto, the planet of transformation. Now more than ever it’s time to release who you were and allow yourself an upgrade before the Autumn Equinox. Without this essential release, we will only copy and paste who we were on top of who we want to be!
Jupiter will turn direct in Capricorn, which will ease things up and bring more blessings. Yet, we will begin to feel more pressure as it reaches Pluto emitting either exaggerated drama or a galactic heart-opening. Let’s all do our part to open our hearts!
The New Moon in Virgo will help us transcend fear so that we can attain the reality we’ve been afraid to step into.
Need some help with this Virgo Season?
Utilize the astrological sun meditation to help you transcend and optimize the Virgo archetype within and around you! Since everything comes from light, all the ions, atoms, and cosmic pixels are influenced by the Virgo archetype, which filters the light of the sun before we receive it here on earth. The sun represents 60-70% of our personal fate, so it’s a rather large shift. In order to really make the most of this special 30 Day period, I offer a quantum sunlight meditation where you access your solar plexus energy and align with the highest vibration of the archetype to ensure a powerful return of energy throughout the Virgo season.
