Valentine’s Day Heart-Opening Yoga Practice
We open our hearts with a gentle yoga practice to love for ourselves, for all humanity and living beings. I am sharing a prayer of true love to humanity. It is the Dalai Lama’s Morning Prayer:
“May I be a guard for those who need protection
A guide for those on the path
A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood
May I be a lamp in the darkness
A resting place for the weary
A healing medicine for all who are sick
A vase of plenty, a tree of miracles
And for the boundless multitudes of living beings
May I bring sustenance and awakening
Enduring like the earth and sky
Until all beings are freed from sorrow
And all are awakened.”
Now, exhale and be still for a brief moment.
What speaks loudly in this prayer is that we are all here together.
Honor and show appreciation to all living beings, plants, animals on our small green planet!
Hi My name is Sonja. I am the owner of Spiritual Flow Yoga Studio and offer safe Yoga and Meditation. Here we practice yoga from the heart. We listen to our bodies and do what we can. We are not perfect and we do not need to be perfect. If you are a beginner check out the beginner classes, come to the mat with love, compassion and kindness towards yourself. Please do not think that you need to be perfect, just show up with a smile on your face and then go from there.
