Hey yogis, in today’s video I’m going to show you how you can master triangle pose, called Trikonasana in Sanskrit. Triangle pose can be tricky because most students believe it’s about touching the floor, but I’m confident that these tips will help you make the balancing process a bit easier 🙂
There are some common misalignment and misconceptions about triangle pose. Rather than aiming to get low and touch the floor, we’re looking for dynamic activation through both legs, length in the spine and length through the arms. As if we were expanding in all directions! We are also trying to rotate our chest slightly and lean back to get a full extension. Grab a block and get close to the wall and I’ll talk you through it!
