Try Prayer Pose To Increase Calm And Balance In The Body

Prayer pose, meaning holding the hands in a folder prayer position, serves to create more balance within the body.

Doing this simple posture allows the two hemispheres of the body, left and right, to connect, which allows for more unity and balance between the left and right brain. When the brain is balanced, tendencies towards anxiety and worry are reduced.

It allows for a more balanced flow of energy to occur within the body, and it provides a nearly instant calming effect. It actually rewires the brain to achieve more balance.

Try doing it for 30 seconds to one minute when you need to clear your head. Notice if you feel any difference in the body before and after doing it.

The left side of the body also represents the feminine side and the right side represents the masculine side.
