3 Things To Know About Being Clairvoyant
It happened when I least expected it. I met Clark. It was an otherwise ordinary day during an ordinary simple meditation when the deceased husband of a woman I was sitting near suddenly appeared right in front of me. My physical eyes were closed during this meditation, yet I saw him standing as clear as day. My third eye, or inner vision, was wide open and what I saw was a man 6 feet tall, with a bald head and overalls. I can’t necessarily tell you how this happened, but what I can tell you is that after this meditation, the woman sitting next to me validated everything I saw about the image of her deceased husband. Living life in a human body, we tend to limit our experience of the world through the typical five senses. However, when we expand our energies, we also have access to many subtle psychic senses. If you don’t know what to look for, you may miss the signs from the energetic realm.
What is a clairvoyant?
A Clairvoyant is someone who works with their Spiritual Eye, or third eye, rather than the physical eyes to see beyond the veil. They use the third eye, also known as the 6th chakra to “see” energy in the form of colors, pictures, images, light, and movement. The 6th Chakra, or third eye, is an energy center in the mid-brain, near the pineal gland behind the forehead. While all of us have access to this energy center, not all of us know how to use it.
What is clairvoyance?
Clairvoyance is a French word dating back to the 17th century that means “clear vision”. It’s a psychic ability, the intuitive 6th sense, and the subtle perception that allows us to see energy. In real life, ‘the seeing’ that happens as a result of clairvoyance is not the dramatic things you will see on television. These visions are subtle and will typically happen within your mind’s eye. Clairvoyance can be so extremely subtle that you may believe you are imagining or making these things up.
If you are a clairvoyant psychic, you’ve probably experienced the gift manifesting itself in some way during your life, and you may not have even been able to recognize it for what it was! If you are new to the world of clairvoyance and want to deepen it further, here are three things that are useful to know about being clairvoyant.
Dedicate to meditate
You want to be clairvoyant? Meditate.
Meditation is the key to clairvoyance because meditation quiets the literal thinking brain. Scientists have shown, through modern technology like MRI scans, what’s taking place in the brain when we meditate. MRIs have shown there is a decrease in beta waves, the frequency of brainwaves that indicates the brain is processing information. It further shows that during meditation, the frontal cortex responsible for reasoning, planning, emotions, and self-conscious awareness tends to go offline.
Reducing the power of the literal mind helps fuel the power that lets spiritual energy take place. You want to phone home like ET? Think of the power bars on a cell phone. How strong is the link? Can you see me now? Meditate strengthens the power connection between you and the spiritual energy field around you. Energy frequencies are always around us. We hear them with our ears when tuned to the right station on the radio. We see them in visual form on the TV when we tune to the right channel. Meditation helps tune in to the right “seeing” station with our spiritual eyes, in the way that YOU become the channel to the information.
Visual psychic flashes are common
Close your eyes. What do you see? Do you see any images, shapes, or colors?
You might think you are going crazy if this happens to you, but far from it! Clairvoyants have strong visualization abilities. Flashes of light and color often are signs that your spirit guide or other members of the spiritual family are surrounding you at the time. You could see floating orbs or colored dots in the space around you, shadows that appear to be floating in midair, twisting shapes like a kaleidoscope, or movement and twinkling lights in the corners of your eye. These images and symbols are all a part of the energetic realm around you.
You have frequent and/or vivid dreams
Clairvoyant people often experience vivid dreams where sleep time is playtime. Why dreams? Our Spirit Guides, angels and loved ones in heaven communicate with us through dreams. When we sleep, our logical minds rest and our subconscious mind can freely accept the spiritual guidance that we would normally ignore or overlook. The dreams you have are part of the larger universal mind substance. What dreams have you had that led you to great awakening? Working with your dreams is a cool way to become clairvoyant.
One thing I suggest: Keep a journal next to your bed to record your dreams as soon as you wake up. After a while, you may start to notice patterns and symbols that are meaningful to you. Keeping a dream journal will also help you see how your clairvoyance is evolving. There’s no better motivation and inspiration than “seeing” how far you’ve come.
This is the energy that transcends material existence and allows us to be so much more than our waking reality. Let’s expand beyond living life in a human body, and move towards our inner sense of knowing and seeing.
