5 Easy Ways To Raise Your Vibration: Living Healthier, Happier Lives

Raising our vibration and keeping our Spirits high is key for living healthy, happy lives, for manifesting abundance, and for stepping in to our becoming and breathing life into our destinies. The higher we vibrate on frequencies like love, compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude, the more easily we can step into the infinite flow of the Universe, consciously co-creating our lives in every moment.

Creativity, inspiration, abundance, and the like, are all not only possible but probable when we change our frequency to a higher channel. Just like we switch the radio or television channel, we can tune in to ourselves and if we don’t prefer the feelings we are experiencing, we can become aware of what’s happening for us, honor the underlying wound, and then take practical, heart-centered steps to switch our personal frequency channel and raise our vibration.



Here are five easy ways to vibrate higher daily.

1. Plant-Based Foods

Incorporating more plant-based foods and whole raw foods into our diets is a helpful way to feel more clean, healthy, happy, energized and pure. Everything is energy, including the matter we see and all things around us. So too do the foods we eat hold a vibration and eliminating processed foods, refined sugars and the like, while inviting yourself to eat more organic, plant-based, whole raw foods, superfoods and superherbs is a simple way to raise your vibration. Superfoods are nutrient dense, calorie poor foods that are FULL of life force energy. They are ancient powerful foods we are rediscovering in present day. Superfoods include foods like chia seeds, maca powder, goji berries, golden berries, and cacao, among many others. Not only feeding the body but nourishing the soul.

2. Clearing with Sage or Palo Santo

Palo Santo and Sage are powerful plant allies used for cleansing and clearing negative energies. If you need to clear a larger house, you probably might like using Sage best. Both, however, are available in larger sizes. Palo Santo is a type of wood, indigenous to South America coming from a tree with the same name and literally meaning “holy wood” in Spanish. Sage plants produce sage leaves which are dried and then tied into a bundle or stick. You can grow your own or buy them at any local health foods store. Gathering an abalone shell or small bowl would also be helpful.

Taking your smudge stick, whether sage or palo santo, hold the plant ally at a 45-degree angle down as you light and begin to see a flame. Wait for about thirty seconds to allow the elements to begin working together as you commune with the spirit of the plant and set your intention. Setting your intention can be for releasing negative energies, clearing your space, or the like. The blow out the flame allow the smoke to accumulate and spread, working its magic. Spin the smudge stick in a counterclockwise direction (always counterclockwise for clearing and cleansing), using your intention as you cleanse the space or yourself.

Take a few deep breaths when you finish, feeling the renewed sense of calm and clarity.

3. Free Your Mind

Free your mind, and the rest will follow. Thoughts are things and one of the most powerful ways to raise our vibratory complex is through eliminating negative self-talk, judgments and comparisons. When we stop believing the lies the mind tells us, mainly about ourselves, we invite personal freedom to flow more readily into our lives.

One beautiful practice to use are mantras. Mantras, chants, or other sound vibrations, help alleviate stress, quiet the mind, relax the body, and inspire the soul. You can choose a simple sound vibration such as “Om”. Drawing the breath in deeply, and out loud beginning to chant “Ommmmmmmm.” Similarly, you can choose a longer chant and repeat this several times to yourself throughout the day. One mantra I love is “Om Mani Padme Hum”. Although each word actually contains a longer description and story of its own, the loosest and simplest translation is “The Jewel in the Lotus Flower.” Repeating this mantra to yourself as many times as you need to throughout the day to quiet the mind.

Whenever you feel the mind begin to race, you can invite yourself to slow down, focus inward, take nourishing deep breaths in and out, and recite your chosen mantra.

4. Gratitude Jar

Creating a Gratitude Jar in your home is both a fun and full-proof pathway to higher vibes. Other than unconditional love, gratitude is one of the highest frequencies with which we can align.

From a physics perspective, the vibrations we emit are the vibrations we will get back in return. Meaning, if we’re putting out negative, bad vibes, we’re only hurting ourselves and we’ll get those back in return. By contrast, the more we realign ourselves with positive, high frequencies such as gratitude, love and compassion, the more similar, like-vibes we too will receive in return.

To create your very own Gratitude Jar, take any Jar or bowl (such as a large mason jar) and designate it as your new Gratitude Jar. With various brightly-colored, high vibrational Post-it notes, (or any paper), and/or some colorful pens by its side, find a place to serve as your Gratitude Jar’s new home. In the morning or when you come home in the evening, take a moment to breathe and come to the present moment. Begin to reflect on some things you are grateful for. Write them down and place them in the Jar.

The most important step here as is to actually feel and emit feelings of gratitude as you are writing and reflecting. Gathering up those moments in your mind and then actively radiating feelings of gratitude as you write what you are adding to the Jar, washing your entire body and luminous energy field in high, positive vibrations.

5. Create an Altar

Creating sacred space both within ourselves and in our work or home spaces around us is one of the most amazing gifts we can give ourselves. When we raise the vibration of the environment around us, we are supported in more ways than we know. How do we raise the vibration of the environment around us? By raising or own vibration. And vice versa.

An altar can be simple and does not have to be tied to any religious or spiritual beliefs. An altar simply can be honoring life, love, serenity, or yourself and your family. As humans we actually do this quite naturally, placing picture frames and candles on special places, creating homes for them and honoring life in these ways.

Designating a sacred space and then nourishing that space with items close to your heart is a beautiful practice. Adding incense or a candle, some kind of flame, is another powerful way to raise the vibration. Every step, even if seemingly small or insignificant is sacred and helpful. You can also add flowers, or other items that are meaningful to you.

In these simple ways, you can feel supported and comforted by the space around you. By drawing from some of these practices and choosing ones that resonate with you, you can begin to improve your mind/body/soul complex on all levels, consistently raising your vibration and being well on your way to happier, healthier lives.
