The Top 3 Ways To Decalcify Your Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is a pea-sized gland, shaped like a pine cone, located in the middle of the brain.  Once a revered tool of seers and mystics, it’s now largely dormant—its divine purpose lost over the ages. It’s the organ of supreme universal connection to the Infinite Source Energy and its significance appears in every culture throughout the world.

The Pineal Gland and Third Eye Chakra

The Chakra system is one of many energy systems in the body. They are vortices of energy laying about two to three inches above the physical body. There are seven main chakras within the body, secondary ones throughout, and actually many more research is showing and shamans are now seeing and activating within individuals. For more information on these, check out a series of my earlier articles called Chakras 101.

The pineal gland corresponds to the Sixth main energy center, or the Third Eye, which rests in between the eyebrows. In the Hindu traditions, it is thought to be the third eye of Shiva who grants knowledge of perfect truth and non-duality. The name of this center in Sanskrit is Ajna or “unlimited power”.

In this Chakra, we attain the knowledge that we are inseparable from God or Spirit. We embody the divine within ourselves and we see the divine in others. Through an open and vibrant third eye, we find our highest source of ethereal energy. When we expand third-eye awareness, the entire Universe of co-creation takes us by the hand and begins opening doors for us where there were only walls before. Through this Chakra, we enter the realms of wisdom that can be experienced but not told. Experience is all there is here. Shamans say that this is a realm that cannot be found through seeking, however, only those who seek may find it.

Here are my top three ways to decalcify the pineal gland:

1) Plant-Based Diet

In earlier blog posts, we’ve talked about the most ideal nutritional picture for any spiritual seeker. My school of thought is that our Bodies are our Temples, and so my nutritional mantra is “We Are What We Eat”.

Everything around us is energy, including the foods we eat, the clothes we wear, the words we speak, the thoughts we entertain and so forth. For us, this means foods are either higher vibrational foods or lower ones. When we talk about people who give off “good vibes” or “bad vibes”, it’s true, and all that is, is quantum physics at work.

That same thinking holds true about the foods we eat. They give off either “good vibes” or “bad vibes”.

Ever stood in an aisle at the store filled with processed foods and candies? The stuff we grew up on? (Or at least I did). My field is so sensitive these days that I won’t stand in these aisles for longer than passing them by, because I can feel the differences in the vibrations emanating from them, from these processed, chemical-filled foods—much less put them into my body on a regular basis.

Our bodies are our temples, and so the foods we commit to eating can go a long way towards not only transforming our health at the cellular level, and nourishing our cells, but also towards de-calcifying our pineal glands and awakening our psychic abilities.

Shamans, seers, and mystics, are no different than average people. Those who have awakened their superpowers and psychic abilities have done just that—activated those gifts lying dormant in each and every one of us. We can all do this, though it’s encouraged in my dream and my vision, to do your personal work on yourself so that when stepping in to these powers, they are used with the best intentions, only for the highest and best good of yourself and others, and used only with integrity, impeccability and within a lineage or code of ethics.

Abuse of power or misuse of these powers comes, in my mind, when someone has not done the work on themselves to shed all that no longer serves them, learned to step out of Ego self and into the Individuated Self, connected in to all that is, and opened their heart spaces and are living in harmony with all other sentient beings—from the two-leggeds, to the four-legged, to the finned and the furred, the winged ones and the creepy crawlies; all of Pachamama’s divine creations and children.



And so that’s the first top way to decalcify your pineal gland, through a plant-based diet.

The ideal picture looks something like meat-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free. Eating raw foods as much as possible, and incorporating superfoods, superherbs and certain all natural supplements.

Superfoods are nutrient-dense, calorie-poor foods that are FULL of life-force energy. They are ancient foods eaten by the Incans, Mayans and the like, and ones that we are rediscovering in our present day culture (think:  like chia seeds, goji berries, maca powder, cacao, and golden berries, to name a few). So that’s the ideal nutritional picture, and if it feels too stringent for you, pick and choose what works for you, and discard what doesn’t. Only you know you best. For a great way to start your day, try a protein powder like SunWarrior protein blend (no affiliation to them and no kickbacks received – just my current personal preference) or another brand that works for you.

2) Fluoride-Free Toothpaste

Fluoride, loosely put, is poisonous to our bodies and most all traditional toothpaste include this ingredient unless the label specifically says “Fluoride-Free”.

In short, it’s an industrial waste product and a neurotoxin. I like to keep the vibe high in these articles so I won’t go into the details here, but if you feel called to go down the rabbit hole with this one, you can Google or research its harmful effects. Instead, the invitation here is to start using (if you don’t already) a fluoride-free toothpaste. Any local health food store in person or online carries these. Make sure the label specifically says so, taking note of how you feel after a few weeks, and then a few months, of making this change.

Most people report having a stronger connection to all that is, with the ability to see more, feel more, and awaken their psychic, empathic gifts even more. This is one of my favorite ways to begin decalcifying the pineal gland. Once you go fluoride-free, you’ll never want to go back.

3) Sungazing

Gazing at the sun in the first few minutes of sunrise or at the last few minutes during sunset is the next powerful way to decalcify the pineal gland. This ancient practice helps draw in universal life-force energy and allows these healing rays to permeate every fiber and cell of your being. This is a simple, easy, and attainable way to begin lifting the veils separating the visible and invisible worlds, revealing to yourself your spiritual gifts, and stepping into your Infinite power and wisdom once and for all.

Bonus: Sacred Plant Medicines

As an added bonus, the fourth top way is through the use of plant medicines such as Grandmother Ayahuasca and/or Grandfather Wachuma, or San Pedro.

Individuals should come to these medicines in great honor and reverence and should only experience these amazing allies with trained shamans or ayahuasqueros. Due to their rising popularity over the years, these medicines have been disrespected and misused by many. With that said, when sitting in these sacred ceremonies—with the best intentions, and with experienced shamans—these plant medicines can change your life.

As an aside, when coming to the medicine, the consciousness of these sacred teachers will tune in to your intentions and will know whether you seek to do serious personal Journey work on yourself or whether you are sitting in ceremony for dishonest reasons. In this way, the medicine will only take you as far as it wishes to show you. My advice here is coming to these divine allies from the deepest place of respect, honor, reverence, surrender, and love. The Journey is not always pretty, but it is always, always beautiful.

Indigenous amazons have been communing with Grandmother Ayahuasca for over 5,000 years. One of the main ingredients in this ancient shamanic brew, called ayahuasca, is DMT. DMT, or N-dimethyltryptamine, throws open the door to worlds beyond our imagination. It exists in all of our bodies, occurring naturally throughout the plant and animal kingdoms. It’s part of the normal makeup of humans and other mammals; marine animals; grasses and peas; toads and frogs; mushrooms and molds; and barks, flowers, and roots.

Psychedelic alchemist Alexander Shulgin notes that “DMT is Everywhere.” He continues, “DMT is….in this flower here, in that tree over there, and in yonder animal. It is, most simply, almost everywhere you choose to look.” In other words, he claims, it’s getting to the point where we should be reporting where DMT is not found, rather than where it is.
