How many times a day do you tell yourself you can’t do something? Do you feel frustrated when you look in the mirror? Are you saying ‘yes’ just to please other people? If this sounds like you, you might be letting your subconscious mind negatively impact your life. However, there is a way to change your mindset, form healthy relationships and boundaries, and achieve a life of abundance: Manifestation.

Practicing manifestation
As humans, our minds are often limited. This is because we base our thoughts on past experiences, people, and places. Often, this goes as far back as childhood and we take our perspective forward into adulthood. This can make us very narrow-minded and prevent us from living the life that we are worthy of. Manifesting is a tool you can use to create your dream life. By learning to rewire our subconscious mind, and tap into our inner guide, we can open ourselves to the universe. Through the practice of self-love, meditation, and visualization, you can reach a level of life that you wouldn’t have believed possible.
Now, I’ve discovered another way of manifesting that is more dynamic – through movement. By moving the body instinctively, setting intentions, and repeating affirmations, you can bring your dreams into reality.
Manifestation through movement: A new tool
I’ve seen the power of manifestation through movement many times. However, I first came up with the concept when I was doing my yoga certification. During this time, I was finding ways to express myself uniquely through the use of reiki, yoga, and intuitive dance. It was while I was exploring this combination that I came up with the idea of ‘Manifestation Through Movement’. I found that by repetitively moving my body, I was able to clear the chakras necessary to live a healthy life, both mentally and physically. Clearing these emotional blockages is also essential to be able to manifest effectively. Sometimes we may not even be aware of the stresses in our life affecting us, but this practice helps us to pinpoint our blocks and traumas – allowing energy to flow freely.
What’s the difference between ‘Manifestation Through Movement’ and Yoga?
‘Manifestation Through Movement’ and yoga are both focused on energy and mindset. However, there are a few key differences. Firstly, manifestation through movement is more repetitive than yoga. It also has the addition of your chosen affirmation, which is repeated throughout. The idea of chanting an affirmation was inspired, in part, by yogic mantras. However, normally yogic chanting is done before and after the session.
Secondly, the repetitive nature of ‘Manifestation Through Movement’ increases your endorphins and heart rate, which helps to improve your physical and mental health. This means you can reach your fitness goals, as well as your general life goals. Yoga is also known for its stress-relieving, meditational, and mindfulness benefits. Often, people believe slow movements and a sense of stillness are the only ways to calm the mind. However, moving the body more repetitively, e.g. through dance, is also a great way of practicing mindfulness. Much like yoga, this movement helps you become aware of your body. Because of this, you can see where you are holding stress and how the body is being affected by it. For example, during manifestation through movement, you might realize that you’re feeling the tension in your jaw or shoulders.
These responses to stress are great indicators of what we are truly feeling, and the areas in our lives that we need to change or develop. It’s all part of self-growth, which is an essential element of manifesting our dreams.
The importance of positivity in your dynamic movement
‘Manifestation Through Movement’ is so effective because of the positive energy created through the repetitive mantras and affirmations. I saw, firsthand, the benefits of this when I was attending SoulCycle. I noticed how often the instructors would say positive things to you during the class: ‘You’re doing so well! You’re crushing your goal today’ and the boosting effect these words had on participants. The same happened during yoga, as the instructors would encourage us to repeat positive mantras to aid our practice. By doing this more repetitively during movement, you can create an incredible sense of empowerment.
This is the premise behind manifestation through movement: the idea of making your own positive mantra that can be continuously repeated. This can completely rewire your mindset, which is totally life-changing! For example, think about when you’re watching TV. During this time, you are subconsciously influenced by the adverts you see throughout the evening. In the same way, by continuously repeating your positive mantra, you are allowing that positivity to be absorbed by your subconscious.
Tip: Practice manifestation through movement in the morning. This is the perfect way to set yourself up for the day ahead.
A step-by-step guide to ‘Manifestation Through Movement’
Manifestation through movement can be done at any time of the day and it’s a great addition to your daily routine:
- Set your intention. This can be anything that has prominence in your life. Maybe you’re having some financial problems or some relationship hiccups? Maybe you want to lose weight to feel more confident, or simply to feel more in harmony with your body? Set your intention for this practice but also your intention for the future. In essence, what’s your end goal?
- Create a mantra. Once you have set your intention, create a mantra from this. For example, ‘money comes easily to me’ or ‘today is going to be a great day’.
- Start moving! As the movement begins, and the practice evolves, we move through a series of 5-8 repetitive movements. These movements focus on various chakras, cleansing, unblocking, and bringing awareness, before focusing on the aura as a whole.
By the end of the practice, we will have moved all the way from the root chakra to the crown chakra, and cleansed both our bodies and minds in the process.
‘Manifestation Through Movement’ is a powerful tool that will help you tap into your intuition and reshape the mind – setting you on a path to reaching your goals. So, get ready to manifest a life that is full of abundance, love, possibilities, and your own creations…
