Relaxing Ways To Spend Your Rest Day, Based On Your Zodiac Sign
Today is my last week of vacation. I just recently enrolled and the school starts again next week. I couldn’t but think I really needed this rest. As of writing, I am listening to a Miley Cyrus song entitled Butterfly Fly Away, something from the Hannah Montana The Movie. It has always been my comfort movie, and I love how it makes me feel. Cozy, homey, relaxed.
And then I remembered people usually struggle how to relax like this. They’ve gotten so used to the fast-paced world filled with deadlines, that they have no idea what to do on their days off. Here are the best ways you can rejuvenate:
Aries ♈️ (March 21 – April 19)
Read the books you’ve bought a long time ago. The pile of books in the shelf are waiting for you. Drown yourself in a new world. Try to also hang out with friends, have a sleepover. Chat about how life’s been, what your families are up to, and talk about your dreams and your future. You’ll realize that you miss their company.
Taurus ♉️ (April 20 – May 20)
Visit an ocean park. Travel to Disneyland. Go near the beach. Dress up, ’cause it’s high time you wear the outfits you have been hoarding for the past months. Stay up late and stare at the stars.
Gemini ♊️ (May 21 – June 20)
Observe a beautiful view nature. Smell the flowers. Go to a famous tourist spot and watch the moon appear. Wear something fancy, be out of place. Just literally be alone. You’ve been dealing with people and that drained you. This should be the perfect alone time.
Cancer ♋️ (June 21 – July 22)
Let it go. Get rid of something that’s chaining you. A hobby, a person, a routine. Cut someone or something that unnecessarily continues to waste your time. Turn off your notifications. Go into airplane mode. Sleep or meditate as you appreciate the peace and quiet.
Leo ♌️ (July 23 – August 22)
Go camping. Or just read a long novel. Change the bedsheets and pillowcases, make your place more comfortable to lounge in. Do a deep skincare before you go to bed.
Virgo ♍️ (August 23 – September 22)
Chow down! Get busy on the kitchen and eat yummy foods! You’ve been wanting to try a recipe, aren’t you? This is the perfect time! Try to consume lots of fruits, okay?
Libra ♎️ (September 23 – October 22)
Light up some scented candles. Bath and sleep while you are surrounded with such fruity scent. If you have an altar, make it a day of worship and surrender all your plans and fear.
Scorpio ♏️ (October 23 – November 21)
Read a fantasy book! Mermaids are highly recommended! Try to visit the beach and sunbathe if you can. You’ll realize how much you miss the sand and the waters. Take some self-portraits, too. You need to update that profile picture soon!
Sagittarius ♐️ (November 22 – December 21)
Chit-chat with your friends you haven’t seen in a while! Catch up and eat some popcorn. Maybe have a movie night. You’ve been all too caught up with your lives, and it’s nice to check up on them from time to time. Having someone you can share your worries to is therapeutic.
Capricorn ♑️ (December 22 – January 19)
Listen to old, nostalgic songs. Taylor Swift country songs or Westlife. Musical theatre songs are recommended, too. Try to play an instrument, too. When was the last time you played a guitar or piano?
Aquarius ♒️ (January 20 – February 18)
Paint or draw today. Make a mural on one of your walls. Hang some photographs. Let your artistic side take over you on your rest day. You wouldn’t notice the time running if you’re calm and focused on your art.
Pisces ♓️ (February 19 – March 20)
Support a friend. Maybe they need a hand. Volunteer in the community or participate in your organization. As long as the task is not for rush, and there’s no deadline. Do something completely opposite of your routine. Meeting new people is a breath of fresh air you didn’t know you need.
