What we have in our lives is the result of our choices and actions. Every New Moon is like a mini New Year in that we have both the negative and positive potential available to us – right at the beginning. Our choices and actions will determine how the year, or lunar cycle, will unfold – not a chart interpretation or a psychic reading. While these tools can lay out the probabilities and the influences that many of us face, it is up to us which path we choose, and then whether or not we step onto it, or not.

This is a matter of free will, sadly a muscle many of us don’t use. When we are spinning around on the wheel of life, we are not using our free will. When we are running on the wheel of life, we are using our free will deliberately by volunteering to participate in the human experience within the material realm (the most beautiful and abundant realm there is).

But, when we slip and spin around in the con of the material world, believing that’s it’s all there is, we become subject to the chains and limitations the constricted reality offers, and we pass out. Spinning asleep on the wheel, suspended in space, in a nice cocoon of ignorance, arrogance, and enslavement to time, space and motion. We get stuck in dead-end jobs, running around in fear, or without meaning.

Now, think that we all have a destiny that we need to achieve in the course of a lifetime. There are many spiritual goals that we must master by transcending our fate. This means that we need to be awake, aware, and ascending our fate that will attempt to detour us along the way.

The paradox, the irony here is that when we are not following our destiny, our life path, we are not using our free will. We are rather robotic and live a life of arbitrary decisions. Free will is a gift that we have to earn to use by increasing our level of consciousness and raising our vibration. When we are complaining and wondering why things are happening, we need to realize we created it. What we render in life is dependent on our choices and actions.

We decide what we connect to: false prophets, talking heads, greedy teachers, or narcissistic influencers can only bestow so much. Maybe we do it because we want to be loved, or we want attention, but it’s our choice. When we connect to a spiritual practice, listen to our intuition, and do the things that work, we make a positive connection. Maybe we don’t get glory, praise, or recognition, but we will get the energy we need to build our ideal reality which will benefit all of mankind.

At the new moon in Capricorn – the new moon of the new year – we get a boost within career and business. Businesses need funding and energy. So we are called to think about where we get the money for our business and in the same way, think about where we get the energy for it. Then, think about what’s motivating your business of life? Praise? Revenge? Narcissism? or perhaps being of service?

We need intuition to guide us and keep us on the straight and narrow path and without it, we are lost living in a superficial life dictated by ego. By establishing the connections that work, as history or experience has shown, we download the clean, condition-less energy and ego-free agenda we need to be successful. How can we know if we are making a connection to a positive source?

Simple: We can know that the practice is clean when we are not the same person we were before we established the connection.
