Are you as happy as you want to be right now? If you had the power to create the story of your life exactly as you want it to be, what would you change? How different would your ideal life be from what you’re living now?
The truth is you really do have that power, through the Law of Attraction. Your dreams and goals truly are within your reach. You really can have anything you want in life because you’re actually creating it as you go. Today I’m going to share how you got what you have, and how to get more of what you want and less of what you don’t want. Sound good?

The basics of law of attraction
The basic premise of the Law of Attraction is, ‘like attracts like’. Things (thoughts, people, and circumstances) of a similar vibration attract to each other. The Law of Attraction is the energy of love, you’re a match to its vibration when you feel love, appreciation, and gratitude. And when you match its vibration, the Universe happily delivers your heart’s desires to you.
Since I began working with the Law of Attraction, I’ve experienced amazing results. I’ve transformed areas of my life that needed it and enhanced what I was already happy with. The more I used it, the deeper my understanding grew, and the more satisfying life became, and I know the same will be true for you when you start practicing the concepts I’m going to share with you now. Each day has become an adventure as I continue to share the secrets of how to create what you truly desire.
Have you ever noticed that things you really hope won’t happen, often do? And when they do, it doesn’t really surprise you — after all, in the back of your mind you knew they would. It’s not because you’re unlucky, or a victim — it’s actually because your attention to these unwanted things have drawn them to you the way a magnet draws metal filings. It’s actually life demonstrating to you how powerful you are, and how much in control of the events of your life you are. So what do you suppose will happen when you take hold of the reigns and focus the same time, energy and concentration on things you do want?
The law of attraction in action
You see, the Law of Attraction is a law of physics, like the Law of Gravity. It affects you whether you are aware of it and understand it, or whether you don’t. It responds to your innermost thoughts and feelings, bringing you more things of the same vibration. Science totally supports this, it’s no longer just a new-age theory. Quantum physics tells us everything is made of energy, including us. We’re vibrational beings living in a vibrational world — small energy fields living in one big energy field. You consist of vibrating energy just like everything around you, and your thoughts and feelings act like magnets, drawing your experiences to you.
You literally attract to yourself the things you focus on the most, and the more emotion you attach to these thoughts, the quicker it comes. You really do create your own reality, and when you begin gently guiding your thoughts and feelings, you can start creating the kind of life you really want. I’ve seen people work with the Law of Attraction to heal their bodies, their relationships, and their finances. I’ve done it myself, and you can too, starting today!
Your thoughts are like powerful magnets that attract other thoughts. In fact, these thoughts attract so powerfully, you only have to hold a thought for 16 seconds and the Law of Attraction will draw more thoughts of a similar nature to you. Hold it for just over a minute and you’ll begin drawing the essence of your thoughts to you. Your imagination can really help you out here, or it can work against you! Luckily, that too is completely under your control.
For example, we’ve all had those ‘bad days’ when everything seems to go wrong. Things seemingly beyond your control that actually are of your own making. You might start the day stubbing your toe getting out of bed, then spill coffee on your outfit, forcing you to change clothes. Like Alice in Wonderland’s White Rabbit you rush around, one eye on your watch, muttering you’re going to be late.
Moments later you’re in a traffic jam or miss your bus, making you late for work, annoying your boss and co-workers. Your mood goes South in a big way. Business deals fall through, you might even find out you’ve been laid-off. You go home, taking your bad mood with you, get in an argument with your spouse or kids, and the day continues to spiral downward. In the end, you wish you hadn’t gotten out of bed in the first place.
Sound familiar? Any of you had a day like this? Then you go to bed, rehashing it all as you drift off to sleep, really hoping tomorrow won’t be the same. The problem is because you’re still focused on the unpleasantness, you’re sending those ‘my life sucks’ vibes out into the world, so you’re actually setting yourself up to attract another day just like it. Fortunately, we’ve also all had the kind of day when you wake with a smile on your lips, You’re wearing your favorite outfit, having a fabulous hair day, all the traffic lights are green, and you find a parking spot just where you need one. You get a bonus or get a surprise raise, someone treats you to lunch, and the day just keeps getting better and better.
Wouldn’t you like to have more of those kinds of days? Then you’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn how much control you actually have over this!
You are in control
What’s happening in both of these examples is, as you’re living your life and noticing what’s going on around you, you’re emitting vibrations of a particular frequency. In other words, your personal ‘vibes’ are always good, bad, or somewhere in-between. And wherever you’re at vibrationally, the Law of Attraction is always lining up thoughts, people and experiences that match it, and bringing them to you.
Thoughts and feelings based on fear or anger vibrate at a much lower frequency than those of love and joy. If you’re looking around thinking, ‘I really like my life’, feeling happy about your hair, body, cat, car, garden, or anything else, you’re vibrating love and appreciation. These thoughts not only make you feel good, they attract more thoughts of things to appreciate and feel good about, which brings wonderful things and experiences into your life.
On the other hand, if you’re consumed with thoughts of how much you don’t like your current situation, nothing around you feels satisfactory. Not only are you temporarily blinded to the good things in your life, you’re actively attracting more things you won’t like because the Law of Attraction is now lining up with thoughts, people and circumstances matching that frequency. I admit it takes a bit of doing to wrap your head around this. No one wants to think they’re personally responsible for the crap in their lives! It’s much more satisfying to play the blame game. It’s the slow driver ahead of you who made you late. Your miserable boss or co-workers are the reason you hate your job. Your rotten childhood, spouse, or ex-spouse is to blame for your unhappy life. But isn’t it more empowering to think you have some control over it all?
What if looking on the bright side of things actually encourages more brightness in your life? What if feeling good attracts good things and situations to you? And what if your fear that something won’t happen is keeping it from you? Isn’t this worth exploring?
Recipe for happiness
Your recipe for happiness is pretty simple. It basically boils down to this: no matter what’s currently going on in your life, you want to feel as good as you possibly can. Because when you put good energy out, you attract good things, and when you put negative energy out, you attract negative things. The simplest way to keep that energy out-put good is to feel good. So what makes you feel good? Thinking happy, positive thoughts puts you in a good frame of mind, which attracts good things to you.
Thinking negative, worrisome thoughts makes you feel bad, attracting negative things. Creating the kind of life you want isn’t all that difficult, it’s just a matter of paying attention to your emotions, noticing when you’re slipping into a sour mood, and taking the time to turn it around any way you can.
To help you remember the importance of your thoughts and their ability to shape your life, try mentally replacing the word ‘thinking’ with ‘planning’, because whenever you’re thinking about anything you’re actually pre-planning your future. That’s why worrying is never a wise mental activity. It’s using your powerful imagination to create something you don’t want!
The importance of gratitude
Because your thoughts and emotions create your life experiences, gently guiding your thoughts toward gratitude is very much in your best interest. Feeling thankful for the gifts you already have is a wonderfully uplifting way to call on the kind of happy thoughts and positive feelings that will keep good things flowing your way. As you continue to feel this gratitude, other thankful thoughts will flow to you through the Law of Attraction. So once you get rolling it becomes very easy.
Expressing gratitude puts you in a happy, peaceful state of mind. This raises your vibration and sends the Universe the message you have a lot to be thankful for. The Universe naturally responds by bringing you more to be grateful for. I recommend spending a few extra minutes in bed each morning cultivating an ‘attitude of gratitude’ by thinking of all the things you have to be thankful for, and the many things about your life you appreciate, making ‘thank-you’ your mantra as you move throughout your day.
Gratitude lists are a great way to start the day in the frame of mind that’s going to create a wonderful day for you. They’re also useful in getting you to that place of gratitude when you’re feeling less than wonderful. To make a gratitude list, literally count your blessings and write down anything you wouldn’t want to be without. I recommend this as a daily practice, and I know if you take the time to do this, you’re going to see your life shift in wonderful ways.
The concept I most want to share was said best by Buddha. 2500 years ago he said, “What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow. Our life is the creation of our mind.”
