I’m Rachel Ricketts, And This Is My Dharma
I am an intuitive grief coach, writer, spiritual healer, death doula, and founder of loss&found – an organization helping folks minimize their pain and move through grief from whatever life’s thrown their way. Through grief coaching calls, online workshops, events and retreats, I guide people in honoring grief of all forms so they can best show up for themselves and others, thrive in their new normal and live a joyful, fulfilling Iife.
I love donuts, dancing and everything metaphysical (ideally all at the same time). Catch up with me at www.lossandfoundxo.com or on Instagram @lossandfoundxo.
Personal or Professional Goals:
To publish my book on coping with loss and grief, travel through India retracing my grandmother’s lineage, skydive, deliver a Ted Talk and meet Oprah! I also hope to raise a kick-ass, progressive, kind, wise, politically engaged, intersectional feminist child (or two)
What’s Your Offering to the World?
I’m an intuitive grief coach – meaning I help folks minimize the pain of loss and grief from whatever life’s thrown their way. I use a variety of spiritual modalities including Reiki, yin yoga, breathwork, and oracle card readings to help people through their dark night of the soul.
Who/What Inspires You?
I am deeply inspired by folks who work on the front lines of change on a daily basis. A good friend is an Aboriginal Rights lawyer fighting every day to address the gross inequities faced by Indigenous folks in Canada and she is a huge inspiration to me. As are the activists working tirelessly to combat the administration of hate that’s taken hold in the U.S. Martin Luther King Jr. is still one of my biggest inspirations, as is my mother who instilled in me a deep knowing that I can create lasting, meaningful change in the world and in fact it is my birthright to do so. Also – I am completely inspired by and in awe of children . I think they have all the answers we’ve forgotten.
My vision is that loss and grief of all forms will be addressed and discussed openly with ease and grace around the world, and my daily mission is delivering heart-centered + spiritual offerings to folks experiencing loss and grief in all forms so they feel seen, heard and supported.
More than anything, I want folks to know that they do not have to go through their dark night of the soul all alone.

I believe we are all walking around with unearthed grief within us. From heartbreak, death, parenthood, racism, sexism, political upheaval, work stress, divorce, marriage physical ailments, loss of identity, trust etc. — grief is a normal and natural response to life.
For many years I tried to forge through my pain, to keep a smile on my face and keep up with the unreasonable pace of life but in the end, I couldn’t. None of us can. The best thing I ever did was find stillness to sit with the painful emotions, honour my experiences and truly face my shadows so they could cycle up and out. It was the hardest thing I ever did, and the most rewarding. Now I spend my life helping others do the same!
