To ensure that you will be reborn into a better life, the Enlightened One explains the science:
Whatever we are seeing in our present life through the five senses, the physical body, etc. is all a result of our past life’s karma.
While we are suffering the results of our past life’s karma, at that time, ‘I am John (please insert your name here), I did this’ – such belief gets created due to our ignorance regarding ‘who really am I’. Since the belief is wrong, karmic atoms (karma) gets charged. The atoms charged throughout the life are collectively called ‘causal body’. Now, based on this causal body, one gets next life.
If we have hurt someone or hated someone, then next life could be in the animal life-form. And if one follows humanity, then one will get the next life back in human life-form. If one spends the entire life for the happiness of others, then one may go to the celestial life-form. And if for no reason, one causes immense harm to others, even commits grave violence, then one could even have to go to hell life-form. These are four types of life-forms.
Depending on the causal body i.e. based on the type of karma one has charged, one will have to go the respective life-form.
So improve the karmic seeds you are planting.
“If someone does this to me, I do not like. Then how can I do that to someone?” With such thought, if one immediately stops doing such deed, that is called humanity. If one has such humanity, one will be seen back in the human form in his next birth.
But if one does not desist from hurting others, one goes to the animal form.
If throughout the whole life, one lives for the happiness of others only, then he is born in the celestial form.
And for no good reason, if one kills others; and also takes pleasure in it, “I shot one arrow and brought an end to that animal’s life”, one goes to hell.
Due to ignorance, one is binding karma and is constantly wandering in the four life-forms. If one stops binding karma and finishes all the old karma effects, then one attains liberation. To attain liberation, one must obtain the knowledge of the Self (Self-Realization).
Through Akram Vignan, one can attain Self-Realization in a matter of two hours only, when Gnani, with his divine spiritual powers, directly gives us the experiential knowledge of the Self.
Furthermore, the Enlightened One suggests reading the Nine Kalams,
“It does not matter how many of these nine kalams you are able to follow. Don’t bother if you cannot follow any of them. All you have to do is to ask for strength, and that strength will accumulate within you. Then the work will get done automatically. When you ask for strength, all the nine kalams will be set up. It is enough even if you just say them. Once you ask for the strength, the strength will be granted to you”, says Param Pujya Dadashri.
So what are these 9 Kalams? They are the following 9 little prayers that we shall say to God, daily with a sincere heart:
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to hurt, nor cause someone to hurt, nor encourage anyone to hurt the ego of any living being, even to the slightest extent. Give me the infinite strength not to hurt the ego of any living being and to conduct my speech, thoughts and actions in a manner that is accepted by all.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to hurt, nor cause someone to hurt, nor encourage anyone to hurt even to the slightest extent, the foundation of any religion. Give me infinite strength not to hurt, even to the slightest extent, the foundation of any religion and give me the strength to conduct my speech, thoughts and actions in a manner that is accepted by all.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to criticize, offend or insult any living monk, nun, preacher, or religious head.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to, nor cause someone to, nor encourage anyone to dislike or hate any living being even to the slightest extent.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to speak, nor cause someone to speak, nor encourage anyone to speak any harsh or hurtful language towards any living being, even to the slightest extent. If someone speaks in a harsh and hurtful language, please give me the strength to speak softly and kindly in response.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to have, nor cause someone to have, nor encourage anyone to have any sexual desires, feelings, or gestures towards any living being, be it male, female or of neutral gender. Give me the supreme strength to be free of sexual desires forever.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength to control my excessive temptation towards food. Give me supreme strength to consume well-balanced and wholesome food.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength not to, nor cause anyone to, nor encourage anyone to criticize, offend, or insult any being; be they present or absent, living or dead.”
“Dearest Dada Bhagwan! Give me infinite inner strength to become an instrument for the salvation of the world.”
Dada Bhagwan
