Cognitive-behavioral therapy is also a very effective treatment approach for eating disorders. It’s a type of counselling that helps patients develop coping skills to deal with their negative thoughts. Patients have to keep on attending counselling sessions until they develop coping skills to defeat the negative thoughts about their body weight and shape.
