The Big Quiet returns to Boston for a mass meditation experience at the historic Boston Public Library.
Going down in what is considered to be one of the most architecturally important rooms in the world, The Big Quiet will take you through a series of breathing exercises, crowd-powered vocal toning, a mass sound meditation, special guest musical performances and break-out conversations to get to know the Boston community. It’s all happening among the adorned book cases and green reading lanterns of Bates Hall.
All attendees will be gifted an exclusive take-home Tuft & Needle meditation cushion, kombucha from GT’s Kombucha and Antioxidant water from smartwater.
A portion of each ticket sale will support our two giveback partners: Kula for Karma in bringing therapeutic meditation to people suffering from trauma, addiction and adverse life circumstances; and Chooose in fighting climate change by reducing the carbon footprint of the event.
**A portion of ticket sales from The Big Quiet will support The Fund for the Boston Public Library, which is the new philanthropic arm of the Boston Public Library. They bring together enlightened individuals, corporations and foundations who care about education and opportunity for all through their support of hundreds of BPL programs for kids, teens, families, singles and seniors. They’re about making the BPL the best library in the US. Join ’em at supportbpl.org
*Please enter through the McKim building entrance at 230 Dartmouth Street.
