Summary

What: A Morning of Meditation, Gentle Yoga, and Sound Therapy
When: Saturday, August 17 @ 9:30am-1:00pm
Where: The Japanese Garden, 6100 Woodley Avenue, Van Nuys, CA

Come enjoy a luxurious morning retreat, your opportunity to find peace in a beautiful place where you can get to know yourself, come back into balance, and find tranquility.

Yin yoga and sound therapy practitioner Diana Osberg will lead you in a practice of conscious breathing and gentle Yin yoga. Then you’ll bliss out in a divine soundbath to help you relax, quiet mind chatter, release blocked energy, and connect to your inner guidance.

We have exclusive access to The Japanese Garden in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. It’s an unexpected oasis on 6.5-acres, ideal for meditation and quiet walks. Prior to the retreat program, you’ll have time to explore the garden and discover its many treasures, including some hidden spaces for meditation.

At the far end of the lake, you’ll find the Shoin – our home for the morning. In this traditional Japanese-style, open-air building by a waterfall, you’ll delight in the sounds of flowing water and songbirds and feel the gentle breeze from the garden during our mindfulness practice.

Come join us for an unforgettable, life-changing mini-retreat. Let go of the unnatural waves of emotion you’ve become used to. Let go of the stresses you’ve accumulated and come into tune with a more authentic life filled with peace and harmony, in accord with your true self. Live your life more authentically to feel happier and more balanced and harmonious.

Bring a yoga mat, blanket, water bottle, and pillow.

What makes this event special...

We’re grateful to have exclusive access to a special property, The Japanese Garden, in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. It’s an unexpected oasis on 6.5-acres, ideal for meditation and quiet walks.

Our home for the morning is a traditional Japanese Shoin, where we’ll gather and share our healing practice, where gentle breezes from the lake can lift the spirit, where the sounds of flowing water and songbirds can delight the soul, where you can connect with your highest, best self and open yourself up to the person you know you are. This is traditionally a place of community, and that’s what you’ll find here – a community of like souls with whom you can share your Divine spirit.
