Summary

Join Susan “Jyoti” Kiskis for a pilgrimage (yatra) to Rishikesh, India, the home of yoga. We will be spending most of our time at the annual International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan.

Includes…Shared rooms, meals, filtered water, unlimited classes. Includes two nights in New Dehli (before and after Rishikesh), and airport transfer to guest house. Side trips and activities as weather and roads permit.

Does not include…airfare, spa packages.

What makes this event special...

We will be enjoying the International Yoga Festival at the home of yoga and will go beyond that! Enjoy walking in New Dehli in the tea market and visit a Jain temple. We will join a family in Rishikesh and learn how to make traditional Indian dishes. World reknown musician, Abhishek Maharaj will teach us about traditional Indian music (and you might just want to leave with an instrument!). Plus, side trips including the “Beatles Ashram” and more.

Jyoti Kiskis

    “Jyoti” Susan Kiskis is an author, yoga teacher, and kirtan wallah. She has meditated on the Ganges in India, hiked through jungles in Belize, and learned the meaning of pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago.​​ An adventurous yogini, she has traveled, hiked, backpacked her way through 24 countries.

    Her books include ​Born Fire Dragon and Let Me Carry You Home. Susan is the host of Sunbury Press’ spirituality podcast, ZenUp.

    She is an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist, Integrative Nutrition Coach, and certified in a variety of natural healing. Susan travels the globe sharing her love of yoga, food, culture, and bhakti.
