HOW (Heart of Wellness) will be offering a one day retreat with yoga: “HOW to Just Be: Be Healthy, Be Balanced, Just Be” on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Craigville Retreat Center. This event is bringing together many powerful, local wellness experts: Pernille of Just Be Yoga Studio in Hyannis, Amy Doherty of WellStrong in Falmouth, singer and songwriter Alicia Mathewson, Rising Star Practitioner and yoga teacher Kristen O’Toole, and bodywork professional and Baptiste certified yoga teacher Jill Sauro.
The one day retreat will be a “journey to enrich your life.” Participants will actively explore ways to bring the HOW Tripod of a healthy heart into their lives. The HOW Tripod is an integrative wellness approach that includes movement, nutrition, and “ARE”: attitude, relationships and emotions. This day will leave participants feeling informed and inspired to embrace a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
In 2013, David first offered his community an integrative wellness program. As his passion project unfolded, he developed the “HOW Tripod” for a healthy heart to promote a holistic wellness approach. David enlists local wellness experts to speak at HOW programs. HOW events are created to leave participants feeling informed and inspired to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
David has been an athlete most his life, from playing college football, to running the Boston Marathon, to most recently enjoying the many benefits of yoga. He has a degree in Business Management and recently became a Certified Life Coach.
