Beginning (or beginning again) Yoga

Join us for this mellow morning yoga class perfect for anyone seeking a restful, therapeutic movement and mindfulness practice. Each session, you will:

Practice breath awareness and learn about breathing techniques

Gently move your joints to support overall wellness

Practice simple standing postures to build strength and balance

Stretch out and relax your musculoskeletal system

Listen to a guided meditation and sound experience (bowls, chimes, bells, etc.)


Recommended for anyone seeking the benefits of yoga, regardless of physical ability

Accommodations made for anyone with difficulties getting up and down from the ground

No experience necessary (experienced yogis will – however – enjoy the gorgeous setting and authentic approach to the practice)


Bethany helps folks reclaim the power of REST. She is registered at the highest level of yoga accreditation (500-hr ERYT), certified as a yoga for preschoolers and people with special needs teacher, certified as a trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher, and certified as an Ayurvedic cook.

Mostly, as the mother of two young kids, Bethany lives the talk of vibrant self-care, slow living, and a life rooted in presence.

What makes this event special...

This series takes place outdoors in an urban oasis. You will be greeted by sunshine, fresh air, and even some chickens on a lovely yoga deck.

Bethany Eanes

Bethany Eanes is a yoga teacher, writer, and owner of The Yoga Harbor in Redondo Beach, California. Life has taken her from a small town outside of Pittsburgh to the beaches of Los Angeles by way of St. Louis, where she met her favorite debate partner and turned him into her husband. Bethany specializes in mindfulness practices to un-busy the rhythms of home. She offers simple, practical solutions for stressed-out, hard-working parents so they may find more joy, ease, and sleep!
