The Heart of Yoga and The Yoga Barn, Ubud, warmly invite you to join us for a rare chance to learn an authentic Yoga direct from the Great Tradition with Master Yogi, Mark Whitwell. We live in a world full of well-meaning but commodified and watered-down Yoga. So the question is, how do we keep the heart in Yoga?
Make your practice pleasurable again by engaging the ancient core principles of Yoga, as passed down from the grandfather of modern Yoga, Sri T. Krishnamacharya – teacher of B.K.S. Iyengar and the founder of Ashtanga, K. Pattabhi Jois. Mark Whitwell met Krishnamarcharya and his son, the brilliant, late T.K.V. Desikachar, in Madras in 1973, and committed his life to furthering their communication of Yoga.
This teacher training and immersion is made up of two intense weeks in the nurturing beauty of The Yoga Barn, Ubud, followed by optional ongoing online teacher development, practicum, and support to qualify for Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification, if desired. Alternatively, practitioners may wish to simply deepen their practice by coming for the two-week immersion only.
