Microcosm/Macrocosm. That’s when then the whole is mirrored in its parts. When I think of Microcosm/Macrocosm I think of an endless hall of mirrors repeating and repeating.
Ancient Greek philosophers used Microcosm/Macrocosm to draw parallels between the Universe and Humans, as have the Gnostics, Hermetics, and mystics throughout the ages.
When I was developing my Clairvoyant abilities, my teacher blew my mind when she said, ‘you know, your Chakras have Chakras!’ When I looked, there they were: Chakra systems within Chakra systems.
Since developing my Clairvoyance, I’ve been on a fascinating journey of uncovering Universal Truths. I’m sure it has something to do with my astrological composition (Scorpio Sun, Scorpio Rising, Neptune in Scorpio) but I’m just fascinated by what’s underneath and behind our conscious growth.
I’ve spent a lot of time looking at how we grow and evolve as humans, the journey we are on and how it all unfolds. At the core of it, I see the presence of microcosm/macrocosm.
At the beginning of each year, I check in with the Earth to see what she is working on for the upcoming year because I know what she is working will be echoed in what we will be working on as a collective. A few years ago the Earth showed me that she was working on uncovering things that had been buried and in turn that we would be digging deep to uncover what we had buried deep.
The year played out in an incredible way with Monks’ bones being discovered inside of what were previously believed to be simple statues; new dinosaurs being unearthed and hidden symbols being found under a river in India. As individuals, it was a year of deep exploration into the energies that we had buried.
The year after that the Earth showed me taking back her power and insisting that there be an equal exchange of energy between what she gives and what we offer her in return. That year, Humanity began its great pullback of the power it has given over to rulers, dictators, governments, and corporations.
But this next piece of information that I gathered during a meditation is by far one of the most fascinating.
Our Spiritual evolution is moving through the seven chakras.
Yup! Our Spiritual evolution has a chakra system too and we are nowhere near the finish line.
Here’s what it looks like (give or take, because I’m not a history buff by any means):
From the earliest period of The Stone Age and the time of Archaic Humans that predate Homo sapiens through the Paleolithic period, humans were evolving through the First Chakra. Our existence was focused on ensuring our basic needs were met: shelter, air, water, food. (That’s about 2.5 million years.)
As we evolved through the Paleolithic period and moved into the Neolithic period we began to create: language, farming, tools, systems and we moved into our Second Chakra evolution. This Chakra evolution of emotions, creativity, sexuality, and sensuality saw us step into our creative power through eras like The Renaissance and all throughout were moments of contrasting conservatism and progressivism like Prohibition and the Roaring 20s. The ever-present existence of push and pull to help us grow.
We have continued to work through our Second Chakra evolution through the 1970s. Over the last several decades we have been moving into our Third Chakra evolution which is about waking up and recognizing that there is more to life than the physical realm. It is also about learning how to use our Spiritual power rather than our ego power, how to live in alignment rather than the push and pull of power struggles and how to stand in our Spiritual power and our Spiritual truth.
It’s important to note that just because we move into a concentrated focus on a specific Chakra that we don’t stop working on the others, it is just that our primary focus is on the learning, healing and growing as it pertains to the Chakra we are working on collectively and universally.
What does this mean for you?
Knowing this can help make your lessons move more smoothly. As you see what you are working on and how you are working on it, you can associate it with our current major learning phase of evolving through the Third Chakra. It can also help you to understand what is happening globally with all of the uprisings and push back against what is quickly becoming ‘the old ways.’
To help support our universal Third Chakra growth, remember that working on your own Third Chakra learning, healing and growing will help to move the Collective forward. Which brings us nicely back to Microcosm/Macrocosm. Working on your own healing does help the Collective to heal and grow.
As you digest this information, spend some time reflecting on how and in what way you are working on evolving your Third Chakra.
Ask yourself these questions:
Where are you being asked to step into your Spiritual Power?
What does Spiritual Power look like?
Are there old ways of power, authority, and/or control being stripped away in your life?
What is in alignment with your True self and what is out of alignment. Those things that are out of alignment will be pushed out (gently at first and more forcefully later if you don’t listen) to make room for Truth and Authenticity in your being and in your life.
Support Tools:
The Third Chakra is associated with the Solar Plexus. These support tools can help to balance the Solar Plexus and support the healing of the Third Chakra.
Gemstones: Amber, Citrine, Yellow Jasper, and Tiger’s Eye
Bija Mantra: The Third Chakra sound is Ram. Chant Ram to activate vibrational healing in the Solar Plexus.
Yoga Assanas: Dhanurasana (bow pose) and Bhujangasana (cobra pose)
In healing and balancing the Third Chakra you are looking to step into patience, empowerment, certainty, graceful leadership and Spiritual alignment.
The beautiful thing to remember is that as we work on balancing our Third Chakra energies, we are helping the collective whole to evolve more deeply in our shared conscious journey.
