Nina Vir is the founder of Daily Dress Me, a site that uses an algorithm to tell you what to wear based on the weather. Each day, thousands of girls go on Daily Dress Me to simplify their morning routines of getting ready and feeling great. Nina just graduated from college and is growing Daily Dress Me at warp speed. She credits her yoga practice for enabling her to set intentions, compartmentalize her stress, and work in flow state.

How does your yoga practice extend beyond the mat?
My daily yoga practice is how I exercise my mind and my body. Yoga, and the skills that it requires, extends to every part of my daily life. To me, it is much more than a physical exercise; it tones my abilities to learn, focus, experience, and grow. Above all, yoga has taught me how to be comfortable with discomfort, which is something you have to get used to as an entrepreneur.
Your Personal or Professional Goals:
After seeing how Daily Dress Me changed the way thousands of people get ready every day, it became clear to me that I want to continue creating clever and innovative products that people love to use. I really enjoy being an entrepreneur and making things happen. You literally get to create something that didn’t exist before out of thin air!
Can you offer a few tips to those on the path?
I think everyone needs to look for the intersection of what you’re good at, what you enjoy and what way you can create a value for the world. In my experience, if you don’t find something at the intersection of those three, it’s hard to really have an impact.
Who/What Inspires You:
For me, both inspiration and motivation come from within, but it takes reconnecting with myself to stay inspired and in awe of the world. Once I have that down, I can get inspired by essentially anything. I read and follow a very diverse range of topics and people, and I like to save my takeaways in my notes or by taking screenshots. I started archiving some of my favorite observations on ninavir.tumblr.com.
My mission with Daily Dress Me is to inject simplicity and delight into your daily routine of getting ready, looking good and feeling great.
“How you do anything is how you do everything.”
